Work on the mill goes on. Yesterday we exposed the plinth, and the restrooms are getting a nice cladding.

Keeping the plinth dry

We dug a trench along the base of the mill tower. Gravel will be filled in there. This lets the water drain away and keeps the plinth dry.

We carted the soil away in wheelbarrows. It was a lot of manual work, but the plinth is now clearly exposed.

Cladding for the restrooms

The wood for the restrooms has arrived. We brought the boards to the mill on a trailer. They will become a cladding that fits the mill.

Coffee break

During a break the helpers could refresh themselves with coffee. Thank you to everyone who helped.
