Work on the Wind Rose

Work on the Wind Rose

The restoration of our windmill continues – this time the focus is on the wind rose. High up on the cap of the mill, skilled craftsmen are working with great dedication on the historic wind rose.

The wind rose is a vital element of the mill – it ensures that the cap automatically turns into the wind. The careful restoration of this component is another milestone in the recovery of our historic windmill.

We thank the craftsmen for their courageous work at dizzying heights!
